Hello, our developer informed me that we currently have the following problem with WPML.
If you click on the gear next to an article to translate it:

you end up in the WPML "translation queue" instead of the post editing.
For other items there is a pen instead of a gear for the translation:

If you click on it, you will end up at the desired translation page:

Questions:
- When to pin, when to gear?
- How do you fix this? In any case, the post translation should come

Hi Pascal,
Thanks for contacting WPML support.

The pencil icon means that the translation is complete and up-to-date. The gear icon means a translation is already in progress. Please check this guide for more details: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/#translation-icons

Regarding the translation issue, please try the following steps:

1. Go to WPML > Translation Management > Translators tab
2. Make sure the user account you use is added as a translator and has all the required language pairs (https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-to-set-up-local-translators-and-language-pairs/#adding-local-translators-through-translation-management)
3. Go to WPML > Translation Management > Jobs tab
4. Search for the translation job for the post and cancel it
5. Edit the original post and update it with a small change
6. Update the translation

Let me know please if that helps.

Kind regards,
Mohamed
