I've updated the "Event Calendar Free and Pro" plugins. After that "Translation button" is removed from within the edit events screen.

Hi there,

I have reported this to the second-tier support. I will inform you as soon sI have an update

For now, please go to the WordPress Dashboard > Events, and instead of entering in the edit screen of the events use the + or pencil icon next to each event item in the list to do the translation.

Thanks.

Yes, for the time being, I used the + icon for translating. Is there any update on an original bug?

Hi there,

I have an update from the second-tier support. You are using a new feature of The Events Calendar Pro plugin called Event series which we do not support yet.

Here are two recent known issues:

https://wpml.org/errata/the-events-calendar-pro-recurring-events-venue-details-and-maps-issues/

https://wpml.org/errata/the-events-calendar-pro-event-series-new-feature-integration/

Currently, we don't have a compatible solution for this. We will inform in the links above as soon as we have a solution.

Thanks.

Hey, Amirian!

Thank you for letting me know. Can you please confirm for me that this compatibility issue is noted and that WPML will make a solution in their core?

Hi there,

Yes, we will try to find a solution for sure as we do our best to be compatible with The events calendar.

But the when and how is not known yet and I will not be able to give an ETA.

Thanks.

Hey, Amirian!

1 more use case occurred last night.
I have a recursive event that starts in Oct 2023 and ends in May 2024 per day. 8 months-long recursive event approx 240 events.

When I try to translate using the "+" icon from the dashboard events page. it translated 240 events in the Spanish language instead of only recursive event.

I think WPML users need a solution for this ASAP. Please prioritize this issue in your development process.

Thank you.
