Featured Images are not copied when translated

simeaM	I am trying to: Get one featured Image for a post in all 4 languages Link to a page where the issue can be seen: everywhere. I expected to see: Featured Images translated (same image, translated media texts) Instead, I got: There is a checkbox in the post, "Duplicate article image in translations". If the checkbox in the post is not ticked, there is no article image in the translation. If it is set, the image is in the translation as a duplicate, but without translation of the media texts. The setting "Translate article image" in the general WPML settings does not work or has no effect on the system.

Please try navigating to WPML > Settings > Media Translation > Click on Start button. This will allow WPML to sync the images on your translated posts. If you've done this and it's still not working, I would need to take a closer look at your site. So I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed IMPORTANT: Please, note, a backup is required for security reasons, and to avoid any data loss, you can use the https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/plugin for these backup needs. Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it. ✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if required. This is also a reason the backup is critical. Thanks! Kor

simeaM	Hi! The client has created a test article for WPML and translated it into FR. The original language has the abbreviation DE before each text block or section and the French translations FR: hidden link

simeaM	I see. But that is quite work-intensive to do that everytime. Is there a way to trigger that automatically or periodically?

simeaM	The problem is, that there is only one workflow for translation. So the featured image caption should also be translated in that one workflow. Is there a way we can work around that?
