This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was facing an issue where all links on a specific page were defaulting to the first link's URL when translated using WPML.
Solution:
We recommended the client to first ensure that Divi is properly loading by editing the original page without WPML enabled. If Divi loads correctly, the next step is to enable WPML and use the Advanced Translation Editor to handle the translations and link adjustments. The client also added that some custom code inside Divi was causing an issue and that the issue was not WPML-related. Removing this code helped in saving the page, updating the translation, and correctly displaying the translated links.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking for related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. I changed it but
constantly get 'Job not Finished' on the translations of the https urls

Also I get this when I add translations and want to Save it;

We're sorry, but something went wrong.

If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

I really have a lot of problems with WPML for only 3 pages I want to translate

Thanks for the information. I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue on my end. I have your original example open from the beginning of the ticket:
hidden link

If you use the search button to look for "https", you can update all URLs to include the translated version.
Could you please check if this works for you?

Best regards,
Marcel

But you can see it? How do you want to reproduce it. It is there on these pages....

How should I update these properly, because when I click on save I get messages.... It is very technical for me and I do not understand how this works

Hi,

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I didn’t encounter any issue when testing to save the translation, so I’m currently unable to reproduce the issue. You should be able to open it, change the URLs and save correctly.

It would be really helpful if you could share some screenshots or a screen recording showing the exact steps that lead to the problem, in case it happens again.

Best regards,
Marcel

Can't you see that the links are all the same on the translated pages? And they are not in the translations....?!

Please take another look at my previous message:

If you use the search button to look for "https", you can update all URLs to include the translated version.

I already provided the correct steps on how to adjust the links. However, you mentioned that saving isn’t working — which seems to be a different issue. It looks like we're not talking about the same thing.

Just to clarify: the Translation Editor includes the links, and you can adjust them directly there. Let me know if that clears things up!

Sorry, but I will keep mailing.
1. On hidden link I choose edit translation and then I see the translation in the advance translation editor.
2. I search for https and I see URL's. I change or check these with OK.
3. Then I select Save and
4. still in the page I see one link working (the 1st) and the rest of the links in the whole page are the same then the first link, although in the translations there are different links on on all the links that are in the text.

Also when I go to hidden link and choose 'edit translation'
and change translations and choose 'Save' it directly goes to: hidden link
Also in hidden link when I search for https there are no links to be found even wwhen there are links in the text.

I cannot see where it goes wrong.....Please, help me! Maybe I should start over again or maybe credits will help but I cannot see where the problem starts and without this I cannot solve it.....

P.S. When I go to hidden link and select Save I get a Network Error and also one link is used i this translation; hidden link

Hi,

thanks for the detailed steps, that helped a lot. It might be best to delete the translated page and recreate it from scratch, making sure to remove it from the translation basket first.

If you don’t see any URLs in the translation editor, it likely means you’ve used internal (relative) links. These automatically point to the translated version of the page. The translation editor only shows external (absolute) URLs.

I also checked the page with the network error you mentioned, and saving it from the translation editor worked fine on my end. If you're editing the page directly in Divi, please make sure to disable the translation editor in the right sidebar before doing so:

Hello,

The translation basket was removed in WPML 4.7.0 so that the workflow became easier.

You will now simply go to WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard, select the contents that you would like to translate, then choose a translation method and create the jobs. All while being on the same page or tab.

About the jobs that you mentioned:

Could you please name exact examples? Title or Permalink of the affected pages.

Are there issues with translation not showing up on Frontend?

What I can currently see on the system:

You lately tried to translate the following pages:

hidden link
hidden link
hidden link

The translations could not proceed as you ran out of credits.

The following pages were already translated completely earlier:
hidden link
hidden link

If you updated the original content in the meantime, it will require more credits to update the translations.

If you do not plan to purchase any credits or use the Pay-As-You-Go subscription, then you should go to WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard and disable "Translate Everything Automatically" on the top right.

Now, you will be able to control what to translate when, and how.

Best regards
Andreas

You do not need to adjust internal links in the translation editor.

If for example, this page here does still link to the original content, then the reason is that it is not yet translated:

hidden link

Once the page is translated, WPML will automatically link to the correct pages in second languages.

At the moment you only have 3 translated pages in English and this might be why internal linking is not working as expected. You need to translate all the pages.

The same counts for posts and your posts are currently set to "Not translatable" inside WPML's settings.

But that is it; They only need those 3 pages translated and the rest won't be translated! They need to link to the original dutch page...

How can I make that possible?

My apologies, as I was not expecting to have to revise links for untranslated content.

I can see that most of those link to:
hidden link

I will install the plugin "All In One WP Migration" to take a copy of the site and troubleshoot this issue on a local install on my machine.

Once I have news I will be in contact again.
