I see that "French, Canada" has been added as a translation option - that is great! I have been going through my entire website adding the "French, Canada" option, however you will see that 5-10% of pages do NOT allow me to translate to "French, Canada" automatically, in fact assume that I am translating from original "French" to original "French". This is extremely odd behavior, that can be seen here: hidden link

That really is odd. Without any further information, it is hard to know why that is happening.
Other than the incorrect language being shown in the Advanced Translation Editor, if you complete the translation does it update the French Canadian version?

I would like to have admin access to your site, in order to take a look.
I will not be making any changes, just looking.

There seem to be connection issues with some of our servers, which you can see by going to WPML -> Translation Management -> Tools / Jobs.

I want to begin performing troubleshooting steps, including deactivating plugins, switching themes, and installing a debugging plugin.
Please make sure to have a working backup of your site before proceeding.

For some reason, the connection issue was resolved by the time I logged in again, may have been something temporary.

I cancelled all the "In Porgress" jobs and now the pages from your recording do not have that issue (French to French translation).
However, I noticed that when I translate "Finance Walk In Tub" from the French version to the French Canadian, the content is displayed in English.

I see that the French Canadian version is a translation of the French version. Is this intentional? It may be causing these issues. I created a duplicate of the page (with "- Copy" added to the titles, and the issue does not occur there. The Canadian version is in English, as it is not stored in the Translation Memory and I do not know French).

I may need to deactivate plugins and switch themes in order to continue troubleshooting, please confirm you have a backup.

I may also need to take a Duplicator package to escalate. If you have any objections to that, please say so.

I proceeded to use the Translation Management location to auto translate the pages (to work around the glitch mentioned above) - it seems that has "translated" (but not really translated) the page. Please also note that we did NOT properly have the domain set for French Canada until yesterday (fr.ellasbubbles.ca)

You may do anything that is required to resolve this issue. Despite not knowing French, it is evident that the plugin should mention the correct "Translate To" language which is NOT happening.

I understand. I will continue investigating and consult with my colleagues if needed.

So there is no miscommunication, can you please direct me to the exact pages you are testing this on? If the issue is different now from what it is in the recording, can you also share a few screenshots showing it?
As I mentioned, I no longer see the French to French translation bug.

Also, in my previous reply, I pointed out that the French Canadian page is a translation of the French page. Can you please explain to me if this is intentional, and if so, why that is?
