Tell us what you are trying to do? Is there a similar example that we can see? What is the link to your site? |

Hello There, I understand what you're looking for. If the text you're trying to translate is static text added by the GiveWP plugin and is also registered for translation, you should be able to translate it using the String Translation feature. Please try the following steps and check if that helps. - Please go to `WPML > Theme and Plugins localization`. Please let me know if it helps or if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help. Best regards, |

Hi Team, I have been trying everything provided in the documentation, and I am not able to capture this string, and it is really important as it is a charity campaign for natural disaster in Brazil. Could you please provide some support here, quickly as I have testing for couple of days, and there is no work done by WPML team. Regards, |

Hello There, The solution I shared in my first message often helps resolve issues with translating static texts, like the 'donation', you've mentioned. But, since the issue persists, a closer inspection will be required to understand the root cause of the issue. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site along with the screenshot of the text you want to translate to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you. IMPORTANT Looking forward to your response. Best Regards, |

Hello There, I've checked and found that the form contents are not visible in the Translation Editor, which is why they do not appear translated on the frontend. By taking the manual translation approach, I was able to translate the form, and now the form contents are displayed in English on the frontend. Please check this screenshot: hidden link Here's the process I followed: - I duplicated the "#1037 DonateRS Form". As I only added translation for the Main Heading and Description, these are only showing correctly in the English version. Please open the "#1337 DonateRS English WPML" Form and include the English contents within the fields. I hope it helps. Feel free to let me know if there is anything else you need help with. I'll be happy to assist. Best regards, |

still a mess, I can not translate properly, so many errors. Doesn´t make sense create 2 forms, if it requires to sum the donation in Portuguese and English version. Please find all the errors. |

Hi There, Thank you for the update and I understand the frustration you're experiencing with the translation issues. Based on the GiveWP hidden link">documentation and our current findings, it seems it is necessary to create separate forms for each language. This is due to some fields not being configured correctly for translation through the WPML Translation Editor. Therefore, creating forms manually, as outlined in the previous instructions, remains the recommended approach at this time. Our compatibility team has reached out to the GiveWP team to address the compatibility issues, and we're awaiting their assistance to find a smoother solution. In the meantime, reaching out directly to the GiveWP plugin team might provide additional insights and support. I've also noticed that all other texts in the English version have been manually translated into English except for the button text "Doar agora". If you could let me know where you've added this specific text, I'll be happy to guide you on how to translate it correctly. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work through these issues. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with. Best regards, |

Hi Prosenjit, Unfortunately, you answer doesn´t relief this issue. We are handling a campaign for natural disaster in the Rio Grande do Sul state, in Brazil. Many people died, there are thousands of missing people, other thousands of starving people. And this campaign aims to gathering donation to support a group of volunteers which are distributing food and clothes in remote areas. It is a crucial campaign for our client. Therefore, I cannot have a double form because it makes us look like a scam, as the forms will have different amount, it is not worth to use English version that causes untrustworthy campaign because the main and reliable field - Donation amount - is different in both version (Portuguese and English), and I neither can print a message to explain the amount is different between Portuguese and English because WPML doesn´t work as promise. It will make us a joke and look like a fraud. My client manages an Institute of Charity; we cannot afford to lost people trust, and being unreliable, or facing compliance issues in Australia. In addition, before chose Giveup plugin a search for compatibility with WPML because multiple my websites clients will be using Giveup plugin for donation, and it requires translation. This is so disappointed; I cannot trust the list of compatible plugins with WPML anymore. Furthermore, I translated the English version using the same method you provide in your instruction; therefore, the text "Doar Agora" is in the same place you use in your instructions. Please hurry up with this solution, many people and children depend on it to receive food and medication. Search for "Flood in Rio Grande do Sul", and we can see why I am begging you to solve this issue. Regards, |

Hello There, I completely understand your concern and the situation and will try my best to assist as much as I can. The GiveWP plugin includes several complex logic that the Translation Editor can't handle correctly and copy to the translation. Therefore, the recommended approach for translating donation forms is to use manual translation. For your information, the GiveWP plugin team is aware of this issue, and we are hopeful that in future versions of the plugin, we will address the compatibility issues, including the one you reported. It's true that if you manually translate a donation form, it won't automatically show details like the goal and the amount raised, which might cause trust issues. However, you can use a GiveWP shortcode to help with this. The shortcode is [give_totals]. You can find more details about it hidden link">here. With this shortcode, you set your overall goal and the forms to include in the calculation. The shortcode will then show the total amount raised and the goal progress. For example: [give_totals total_goal="5000" ids="1,2,3"] If each form has raised $1,000, the shortcode will display $3,000 of the $5,000 goal, along with your message and an optional progress bar. You can add this shortcode to the top/anywhere on the page where you've added the donation form. I added this shortcode to the English Donation Form page, and check hidden link">this screenshot to see how appears. I hope the information above will help. I would also like to assure you that the WPML compatibility directory consistently showcases plugins that are ready to work in a WPML-enabled environment. GiveWP is listed there because it has been equipped with functionalities that ensure it works within the WPML environment. The GiveWP team has proactively addressed any issues arising between WPML and the GiveWP plugin. You can view the resolved issues by checking the 'issues' section(hidden link), which details the fixes implemented between WPML and GiveWP. I hope I've explained everything clearly and hope you can understand. If you need any further assistance, please let me know. I'm here to help. Best regards, |
