Global Header/Footer Translation (Also Homepage problem)

janekP	Background of the issue: I am trying to translate pages using WPML, but the translated pages won't show the same Header and Footer as the default page. I changed the code as per the instructions here: https://wpml.org/errata/betheme-global-header-footer-translation-not-displaying-on-secondary-language/ but the issue persists. I am using the Betheme theme. Symptoms: Translated Homepage (Esileht) and also Contact page are not visible. Although the translation shows as completed, I am redirected to a 404 page. Screenshot: hidden link Questions: Why are the translated pages not showing the same Header and Footer as the default page? Why do the translated Homepage and Contact page show a 404 error despite being marked as completed? How to fix it?

Questions:
