How to translate portfolio items

saraH-7	In WPML settings Post Type Translations I enabled the translation of portfolio and portfolio categories. After that, I manually translated both categories and portfolio items. However, when I update my website only categories are translated and portfolio items are in the original language (I used masonry portfolio tiles to show items).
