This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
Strings added using the “BEAF - Ultimate Before After Image Slider & Gallery” plugin are not translatable. The words are defined in the Dashboard in the settings of each gallery: https://snipboard.io/7ruezo.jpg
Solution:
1- Set the sliders post type to translatable
2- Duplicate the sliders to English
3- Edit the duplicated English slider to change the before and after strings
4- Update the English sliders
5- Use the English Sliders shortcode on the English page
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

The strings are this words: hidden link in a plugin called “BEAF - Ultimate Before After Image Slider & Gallery”. The words are defined in the Dashboard in the settings of each gallery: hidden link
As I said, I already used all methods available in the documentation to try and find the strings and translate them. I can't find them, this hasn't happened to me before.
Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –
in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
Your next answer will be private, which means only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thanks for the access details. I checked the issue and found a workaround to fix it by the following steps:
1- Set the sliders post type to translatable
2- Duplicate the sliders to English
3- Edit the duplicated English slider to change the before and after strings
4- Update the English sliders
5- Use the English Sliders shortcode on the English page
I've applied the above steps to one slider, which worked correctly. (hidden link)
Kindly check this slider on the English page to see the strings. (hidden link)
