Hello, I purchased WPML to localize my website in all English-speaking countries like Canada, USA, Australia, and the UK.

I am unable to find this option in WPML my package.
Here is an example of what I am trying to do. hidden link

You can click on the flag, and the language and (sub folder in URL) will automatically change.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

It is not very clear to me what isn't working properly, as far as I see if I click on any of the language flags it takes me to corresponding language.

Can you clarify a bit more?

Regards,
Bruno Kos

Check the picture I have attached.
I want to make my pages available locally in countries like Australia and Canada.
Let's say my default URL is "thestreambible.com/netflix"
I want a separate subfolder for it in Canada, "thestreambible.com/ca/netflix"
and the same for other English-speaking countries like Australia, New Zealand, etc.

I am unable to find how to do it in WPML CMS. It only gives me the option to select a different language, but I want to go with local SEO now. Later I will hire a French writer and introduce the French language.

I believe this will help you then:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/editing-wpmls-languages-table/#adding-your-own-languages-using-wpmls-gui

Make sure to select a correct Code as it will be your url:

Thank you for the detailed guide.
I have tried to add language for Canada and Australia but the problem is it is adding. a default added value in URL (sub directory)
For Canada, Wpml is adding en_ca in the URL. I want it to be "ca"
I have tried editing the WPML table in PHP but can not do it.
I am a non technical person!
Can you please help.

WPML doesn't add anything on its own when it comes to custom languages.

But if the language code is already reserved in languages table (so used by another language), you will not be able to use it.

Other fields from the table you can modify as you wish at any given time.

Please record a video using tool such as hidden link to show me where exactly does it fail.

Thanks for bearing me Bruno!
Can we have a short Skype or meeting call in which I can explain the issue and what I want out of the plugin?
I will hardly take your 5 minutes.

I have spent almost three hours today to get exactly what I wanted out of WPML but failed to do so. The guides you mentioned were useful, but I still need assistance!

We do not offer Skype calls or similar type of support, only chats and tickets, however clients can upload videos and images as they please to illustrate the issue.

Let me know what further assistance is needed!

I have asked a freelance developer to assist me in this task. Let's see if he can do it.
Just tell me, "Can I make a sub-directory for the Canadian version of my website to improve local SEO?"
If yes, how to because xyz.com/ca/ is allocated to Catalan. How can I change it with all the necessary codes and values like herf lang tags, etc?
Please let me know if you have a developer who has done this before.

If the language is already reserved in WPML languages table by default, meaning it uses this language code, that you cannot reuse this code for another language.

But what you can do is to activate Catalan and then change the name of the language:

I have created a custom directory in WPML. But it's not supporting the SEO plugin I am using—rank Math.

The content is translated and duplicated to the desired sub-directory, but the meta title and description are null. I have tired adding it multiple times but could not succeed 🙁

Can you create a new ticket (for our support rules) for that issue so we could check? Because Rank Math is supported, so perhaps this is a bug or scenario we haven't tested yet:
