I am trying to: translate website on multiple languages. Everything was working fine, but now images started to disappear. It's not consistent at all: The same section works on some pages, but suddenly not anymore on others. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: I expected to see: Instead, I got: Images not showing. Sometimes the src is missing completely. Other times a wrong link is showing up. I already checked Media Translation settings and ran the duplication of images. Didn't help. I also installed all updates and disabled some plugins, didn't help. |

Hello, Please go to WPML > Settings > Media Translation and click the "Start" button. This will create all missing media entries inside the WordPress library and the images should show up again. Take note, that this task can demand time, depending on the amount of images. If this will not solve the issue, please let me know. Documentation: Best regards |

Hey Andreas, that's exactly what I already did twice, sadly no change. |

Hello, Did you already try to edit and save the original content and apply the translation again? When doing this, make sure to mark the fields for duplicating featured imaged and uploaded media inside the Language section of the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor on the original content. If this will not solve the issue, I would like to offer to have a closer. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate the issue further. You can find the required fields below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, which means only you and I can see and access it. IMPORTANT I may have to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" to make a copy of the website where I can investigate the issue further. However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server yourself for this purpose. If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Just take note that WPML should be registered on this site again. If you are unable to provide such a copy of the site for testing, please let me know on this ticket. The private response form looks like this: Next time you reply, click "I still need assistance." Video: Please note that we are obliged to request this information individually on each ticket. We may not access any access information not specifically submitted on this ticket in the private response form. Best regards |

Yes, appyling the translation again also didn't help. I fixed it in a different way now: WPML > Media Translations and searching for the individual images missing. Then reuploading the English Variant. That helped as only measurement. I feel like something went wrong in the database when matching the translations or something. |

Hello, I am glad to hear that you found a solution. If you would have mentioned earlier that you are actually trying to replicate images in a second language with WPML Media Translation I would have suggested the same. Best regards |
