[Resolved] import of wpml translations

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are working on a site under development and trying to import translations using WPML and the native WooCommerce importer, which is asking for field mapping of the 

_wpml_*

fields.
Solution:
Initially, there was no immediate solution as our developers were focused on the upcoming 4.8 release. However, we have made several updates since then. We recommend updating to the latest version of WPML to see if this resolves the issue. If the problem persists after updating, please open a new support ticket with all relevant details for further assistance.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Are you able to look at this other ticket ? The following has been suggested:

Could you set the SKU in the second language import to "Do Not Import" and proceed with the import?

After the import, run the WPML settings, and it should copy the SKU from the primary language automatically.

We (you and I) have never left out the SKU's during 2nd imports, and without SKU's there will be no relationships between Products and Variations.

I hope that you are able to look into this issue.

there have been several changes on the development side. Please update to the latest version and check if the issue still occurs. If you can reproduce it afterwards, feel free to open a new case and include all relevant details so we can take a closer look.
