Hi Shekhar.

As requested I am sending you a WP content archive: hidden link. I removed the uploads folder as they are 25GB.

Thank you for your help. Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards
Domen

Hello there,

Thank you for the file, I will still need the import files as it was saved in the wp-content uploads folder, also, To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.

So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.

Hello there,

I tried to run the import on my localhost with all plugins disabled and it works without any issue, can you please try this on your staging site, by disabling all plugins once?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello,

Have you left WPML activated? We've found that the import process works if WPML Multilingual CMS is deactivated and all other plugins and themes are activated.

Thank you.

Yes, WPML is activated.

Can I disable the plugins on the staging site? also, can you provide me ftp details to the staging site so I can check?

You can edit your previous private reply to send the FTP details.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

I deactivated all of the plugins except the WPML plugins. I also shared FTP details for the staging site.

I also ran an import and I am waiting for it to be complete.

The import process stopped at the same point as before, at 105 post: hidden link. If I choose to click on "Continue Import", it may skip certain posts and subsequently stop once more.

This doesn't happen if I deactivate WPML Multilingual CMS.

Hello there,

It looks like there are some settings that are corrupted on that import. I tried to import using a new import with the same settings and it seems to work, can you try this once?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hi.

I took a look at your current settings and you marked to create new posts if they don't exist in the import file, which would not be okay for us. I replicate your other settings and I got the similar result as seen here: hidden link, hidden link

I also saw that your Import went through all of the posts but didn't update anything. This is because the mentioned settings was checked: hidden link

Thanks!

Hello there,

Thank you for the feedback.

Yes, I see the import is still falling, I again tested this on my localhost and while the product is updated and takes time, it's working.

On the site debug.log, I don't see anything that causes the issue, I also tried to disable WPML, but it shows a fatal error with the theme, and the theme is required to run the import so I am unable to test this.

Before testing this further, I would like to get more info on this two things:

1) Do you have products id from different languages in the import files?

2) Did you contacted your host and asked for the server logs? Can you ask them and see if there is any error reported on the server side?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hi.

We have a lot of functions that are added to the theme and are directly connected with WPML. If I remove those functions there is no fatal error when you deactivate WPML, but the import is still stuck at the same point.

1) All post IDs in the import document are from EN posts only.
2) Of course. There are no server logs related to when the import gets stuck.

Thank you.

Hi.

I imported posts into the temporary staging site that you set up, and it seemed to work. However posts don't have all of the informations, also database, database size and configuration are not identical to the original site.

Did you make any changes to our staging site's files or WordPress configuration? I'm asking because our success story post type is now returning a "Page not found" error, even though they still exist within the WP dashboard.

Thanks. Regards
