I am building a site with donwloadable products, in primary language (slovenian) post card is displaying everything perfect, as in first picture i attached. In secondary language (german) some post cards are displaying "Schwierigkeit", but some are not. I have duplicated products from slovenian to german and then translated post cards. I cannot figure out what the problem could be so I please for help.

Best regards

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

I do not see that issue on your staging site: hidden link, so please ensure the products and templates are translated completely on your live site.

Then you can try to do some troubleshooting steps below and see if it helps:

1. Enable a minimal environment: Deactivate all plugins except WPML and Avada addon plugins

2. Go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > Click on some buttons
- [post types] Synchronize posts taxonomies
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Fix WPML tables collation
- Set language information
- Fix terms count
- Fix post type assignment for translations
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi!

Live website is here: hidden link.

I followed your steps but it still did not resolve the issue. I could create you an account for you to see website in backend.

Best regards!

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.

❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

The "Schwierigkeit" number is the ACF field "Level" when editing the product. And the field value is not copied to the translation product.
I've fixed the issue by going to:
- ACF > Edit the field group > Set the mode to "Same fields across languages" (the mode is not set before) > Save change
- Edit the product in Slovenian language > Just click update product to sync the field value to the translation product.

Now you can see the "Schwierigkeit" number displayed on the translation homepage as well. Please check this screenshot hidden link

Refer documentation:

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi,

thank you for your assistance, I have one more question. On vharmonika.at, if you scroll down to products you can see "Sort by" button (woo sorting), I simply cannot translate, I have installed german .po and .mo files, searched for it in wpml and loco translate and couldn't translate it.

Best regards.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

We can handle one question/issue per ticket only so I will split this ticket into a new one for your new question/issue.

If you see the main issue of this ticket with the translation of the product Level custom field resolved, please mark this ticket as Resolved.
