Problem:
You are using the Catamaran theme on your WordPress site and are trying to translate the portfolio section using WPML. However, when you add content to the portfolio, it incorrectly translates the same data into both languages. Additionally, you are experiencing recurring issues with WPML translations.
Solution:
First, ensure that you enable translation for the project details. Navigate to WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation and check the option Show "Multilingual Content Setup" meta box on post edit screen. Then, return to your page, scroll to the bottom, and you will see the "Multilingual Content Setup" options. Here, locate the project detail fields and select "Translate", then resave the page. This should allow you to correctly translate the portfolio content in the Advanced Translation Editor.
For the recurring issues, make sure that the translations for the

trx_addons_options

are enabled as shown in the WPML settings. This adjustment should help in managing the translations more effectively.

Background of the issue:
I am using the Catamaran theme for my WordPress website, hidden link, and I am trying to translate the portfolio section using WPML. I have installed the WPML compatible version of the theme.

Symptoms:
When I add content to the portfolio, it translates the same data into both languages, which is not the desired behavior. I have also experienced recurring issues with WPML translations.

Questions:
How can I properly translate the portfolio data so that the content for each language remains separate and specific to that language?
Why am I facing recurring issues with WPML translations, and is there anything I need to adjust or configure to avoid these problems in the future?

I can see the titles and values on the "project details" and you need to enable translation for that.

Kindly navigate to WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation > Check "Show "Multilingual Content Setup" meta box on post edit screen" option. Then, go back to your page and scroll to the bottom of the page, and you'll see "Multilingual Content Setup" options show up.

Locate the project detail fields and select "Translate" then resave the page and check the Advanced Translation Editor again.

Thanks for your reply. I've enabled the translations for the trx_addons_options as shown in the attached screenshot in WPML > Settings. Now you should be able to translate the options in the Advanced Translation Editor.

and the other thing i asked for the link change as plugin has builtin page i cant directly change from the pages i am talking about slug i want to change slug in french version the current slug is

i want to change to this from wpml as in french it will open this and english its fine

note: i changed already the categories slug by my self but cant find mail slug

this is the categories slug of the french version and its good
hidden link

please only show me or change the portfolio to notre-inventaire-de-bateaux
