[Closed] Media Categories not working on secondary language

I've created a sandbox site here hidden link and installed your theme. However, it needs to be activated before I can replicate the issue. Could you please activate the theme and if possible, replicate the issue over there so that I could escalate this to our 2nd Tier Support for further assistance?

Hello Kor,

I activated the theme and replicated the issue. The same thing happens like on my live website. At english version of the website, category-name-EN shows 2 images in total while at Dutch version, the image appears at "Without categories" option even if it appears selected at category-name-DU which shows 0 images in total.

Waiting for your further advice on the above issue.

I have feedback from our 2nd Tier Support and they have shared some workarounds. I would like to test it on your Website and could you please enable the category filters again on the media library? Also, please perform a full backup.

Preferrable if you have a test site for us to check on this.

I've tested a few workarounds and it works. You can give it a try.

Option 1

-Go to WPML > Support.
-Click on 'troubleshooting' link.
-Select Media and click on the Synchronize posts taxonomies

Option 2

-Go to Media > Library.
-Click on the top bar and switch languages.
-Select any image.
-Assign the category from the attachment clicking on the Edit more details link.
