This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you click on English, a popup template with an Elementor Pro loop grid widget appears. In the second and third columns on desktop, the custom CSS for the loop items is missing, although the items are translated. The popup items look correct in English but appear strange in other languages, with the editor showing white but visible in the Structure Panel.
Solution:
We have developed a small plugin to address this issue temporarily. Please back up your website first. Then, download and install the plugin from this link. After installation, make a minor change to the original page and ensure it is 100% translated. This should resolve the problem temporarily. Our development team is aware of the issue and is working on a more permanent solution.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hello,
if you click on English, the Menu a Popup template comes up. On desktop in the 2nd and 3rd column there is an Elementor Pro loop grid widget. The Popup, the Loop items already translated. The Loops items custom CSS is completely missing. What I tried:
- checked the Loop items one by one in Elementor editor -> all looks ok on all languages
- - tried to resave them
- regenerate Elementor CSS
- checked the Popup item one by one in Elementor editor -> the English looks perfect, the other languages are very strange: the editor fully white, but in the Structure Panel everything is visible.

I can share this screencast about the case: hidden link
I hope this makes sense.

Do you have any suggestion with this?

Regards, Laszlo

Hi Laszlo,

Welcome to WPML support. As mentioned by the AI agent, first things first is to update WPML and WPML addons:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for Updates" button.
- Update WPML and its addons there.

For more information:
https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#automated-updates

After that, as the issue happens on the menu pop up it might be related to Ajax. Would you please enable the Ajax support using the method below?

- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Languages > Language filtering for AJAX operations".
- Make sure that the "Store a language cookie to support language filtering for AJAX" option is checked.
- Click the "Save button".

For more information:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/enabling-language-cookie-to-support-ajax-filtering/

If the issue persists, after that, please go to the main Elementor where it uses the loop grids, and from the sidebar I saw (in the video) that loops where not selected for some reason, try to select them and save the result.

If the issue persists, I can try to check I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

Along the way we might need a copy/staging version of the website but for now no need.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for the login information. I spent some time, but I could not find why the styling problem happens.

There is no CSS error happening in the browser console.

Would you please copy the website to a staging version so we can deactivate plugins and make some breaking changes without the fear of breaking a live website?

You can add the login info by setting the next reply as private.

We will do our best to find out why the issue happens.

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for the login information. I tried to deactivate all additional plugins and use the parent Hello Elementor, but even on this way, the border radius shows on the Main language but not on the Second one.

I wonder where did you add the custom CSS? May I know where it is? So I might be able to find a way to force WPML to sync the code.

Thanks.

Hello Christopher,

hidden link
in the Suites loop in menu + Posts loop in menu

Check this: hidden link

Some of the missing ones are Custom CSS, but some is part of the Elementor Widget settings like the background settings.

I hope this helps.

Thank you. I asked for a second opinion to see if we can find a clue why in a context of Pop up for the menu the same thing does not work.

Thanks.

Thank you! I'll be waiting for this.

Theoretically, I can add all these CSS into the style file, but it should work without this, and that would be quite a lot of work and not so good if anyone wants to change anything in the project.

Yes,

But you used Selector in the CSS code, which is a dynamic option. You will not be able to copy and paste everything to a CSS file.

Unless you find each element, the correct selector.

I will get back to you whenever I have an answer from the second-tier support.

Thanks.

Hello again,

Do we have permission to create a copy of your website for further investigation?

Our second-tier support found some log errors and they concluded they need a copy to dive deeper.

Thanks,

Hi Laszlo,

Thank you for your reply. Our second-tier support could not find why this is happening on the website.
It is very odd, and we are doing our best to know why this might happen.

We asked for the involvement of the development team members to see if we could find a clue.

For now, I have no news to share, but we are working on this.

Thanks.

Hi,

Our compatibility team created a small plugin. You can download it here:

hidden link

Please back up the website, and then install the plugin, and then do a small change on the original page, and make sure the page is 100% translated, and that should do the trick.

It is a temporary solution, the issue is reported to the development team for further investigation and better solution in the future.

Thanks.

Hello Christopher,

thank you, this is working well. Thanks for your hard work and dedication on this. May I ask one more notification here when I can remove the temporary fix and expect that the plugin will know this?

In any case, I really appreciate the fix, thanks!
