Tell us what you are trying to do?
After updating an existing post to the other languages (clicking the "Update X translation" button and using the Advanced Translation editor), there are three revisions created for the translated post instead of one.

The first revision contains the translated content, but no user is attached to the revision.
The second revision contains the old content, and the current user is attached to the revision.
The third and final revision contains the translated content, and the current user is attached to the revision.

Would it be possible that this is a bug or something else?

Is there a similar example that we can see?
I am not sure. I have tried using a fresh WordPress installation and this did solve the issue.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support. I will try my best to assist you in this matter.

I understood the issue you're having. Please be informed that the revision is not an option controlled or added by the WPML plugin. It is counted or added based on the number of times the translated post/page is updated.

However, from the WPML Debug info, I noticed that you're currently using an outdated version of the WPML and the String Translation plugin. Would you please update the plugin and check if the same issue happens or not?

As you also have mentioned that the issue didn't occur in a Fresh installation, it might be related to any specific configuration also. But, please check by updating the plugin first. If you need further assistance, I will be happy to help.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit
