This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is using the WPML plugin with a pay-as-you-go account and has encountered an issue where despite recent payment, they receive an error message stating 'You do not have enough credits, please ask the owner to buy more.' This occurs even though the next automatic payment is scheduled for the following month.
Solution:
1. Navigate to WPML → Translation Dashboard in your WordPress admin.
2. Attempt to translate a page again. When the 'not enough credits' message appears, look for a 'Get more credits' link or similar.
3. Click the link to be redirected to WPML’s payment portal and complete the payment process for additional credits.
4. After confirming the payment, credits should be available immediately, allowing you to continue your work.
If you still encounter issues after payment, try logging out and back in, or refreshing your dashboard to sync the credits.

If the solution provided does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am using the WPML plugin with a pay-as-you-go account to translate pages on a site under development. I recently paid the monthly charges, and the next payment is scheduled for next month. If I had to pay the 1st $100 bills, please build me a ticket or go ahead with the automatic payment. I need to continue working please!

Symptoms:
When I try to translate a new page, I receive an error message stating: 'You do not have enough credits, please ask the owner to buy more.'

Questions:
Why am I receiving a message about insufficient credits when I have a pay-as-you-go account?
What is causing the error message about needing more credits despite recent payment?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I can see the missing link in the Advanced Translation Editor. I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your Website to check on the configuration.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
