Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a CPT with many ACF custom fields on a site under development. I want the fields to appear in the same order as they do on the CPT editor for the default language.

Symptoms:
The order of the ACF fields in the ATE seems completely random, which is highly unpractical for translation.

Questions:
Found some support tickets from the past on the WPML site that suggest the order of these fields is the order in which the fields themselves were created. Is this correct?

How can I influence the order of these fields to make translating easier for my client?
