This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where connecting translated pages in different languages (French and English) and then saving causes the page to break, despite no edits being made. This occurs when using the Greenshift Block Theme.
Solution:
We recommended the following steps:
1. Ensure that the pages are connected correctly by following the guide on using different translation editors for different pages, which can be found here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/
2. If the issue persists, we suggested recreating the page from scratch to see if the problem resolves.
3. Additionally, creating a staging site using the WP Staging plugin to test if the issue still occurs there might help identify if the problem is specific to the production environment or a broader issue.

If these steps do not resolve the issue or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Hi Carlos,
Here another screen recording about the issue : hidden link

I got it working once, but tried to do the exact same things and it broke again. I get it broke like 9 times out of 10.

Not sure what's going on. Any thought?

Hi,

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue, so I suspect there is some cache memory involved. In any case, I'd recommend re-creating the page from scratch and seeing if the issue disappears.

Hi Carlos,
I have tried that too.

What I tried are :
1) Deleting page component one by one
2) Recreating a new page
3) Recreating a new tempate
4) Creating the French page with the "+" sign in the language block
5) Creating the French page separatly, then linking them together via the language block

Each time I have that issue.

If it would be a cache issue, I would have that same issue elsewhere no? It's the only page I have that trouble with.

Hi,

It's really hard to provide an answer because I haven't been able to reproduce the issue on my side. Could you create a staging site with a copy of the production site (you can use WP Staging plugin for free) and check if the issue happens there too? Also, could you try using a different browser and comparing the results?

This information might provide more information about the cause of the problem.
