What about if someone is an admin and just clicks on the page that they need to translate then clicks the language on the right side and is taken to the advanced translator. They make their changes and after they click Publish they are taken back to the original page - do you they need to click Update there? Here's a quick loom video showing the question:

Have you had any time to look into the other issue with the icon boxes?

I haven't checked on the other problem. Let's first focus on finishing this issue so we can tackle another one, which will be handled in a separate ticket .

----

To make things cleared about the translation: each translation is created by "jobs" which can be seen as sessions. A session is opened when there are changes to a page and it's closed when you hit the "complete" button.

If you have already finished one job, that one is closed and remained in edit mode for later so if you do not make a change to a page, you'll see the last job, with the last configuration. It's good to make edits but you won't see any change there.

Instead, if you make a change like adding a character to the title or you send the page via Translation Management, you'll be creating a new job so any change will be reflected there. Those are your 2 options.

I hope things are clear now, but let me know if that's not the case.

Can you explain this in a loom video? We have not been using this tool with a manager involved - each Editor has access to a language and makes changes as they see fit.

Can you open a separate ticket for the other issue and begin troubleshooting? We really need that resolved asap too.

About the icon box, isn't it the same as this ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wp-bakery-icon-box-does-not-translate-the-title/ ? if that's the case then please answer this ticket, it's been waiting for an answer for 2 days. you can ask them to send it my way and he can reassign it if you want to continue with me 🙂

Yes the icon box and the regular translations seem to be ok now. I did updated the English version of our footer which is inside of an element called reusable block by adding a new link to it called “ompressum” - I don’t see that it propagated to the other languages. What is the process for this type of problem?

New threads created by Alejandro and linked to this one are listed below:

I saw that before but i don't know where the "reusable blocks" are, i just know that back then you had them translated and i guess you can find them as translatable in WPML > Translation Management, so you might have to update the translation as well.

If you know WHERE those reusable blocks are initially created, let me know the steps and i'll separate the ticket and handle it there, to see what we need to do to have this fixed.

Regards.
