Background of the issue:
I am trying to access certain pages on my website, but I encounter a 404 error. The problematic URLs are: hidden link and hidden link. The same pages are accessible with lowercase URLs: hidden link and hidden link. I have not created any redirects for the first set of pages.

Symptoms:
When I try to access the pages with capital letters in the URL, I get a 404 error.

Questions:
Where these pages with capital letters in the URL comes from?
Why do I get a 404 error when accessing pages with capital letters in the URL?
How can I resolve the issue of 404 errors for URLs with capital letters?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Where did you get those URLs? Can you view them from the dashboard?

I don't think this is related to WPML. Could you please deactivate WPML temporarily and check the URL hidden link to confirm?

Please backup your database before making any changes.

Where do you see those incorrect URLs? If I manually create the URL for the original language as I shared above, I get 404 errors as well.

I cannot say why you are seeing those URLs in the Google Search Console, as those URLs don't exist on your site. Perhaps there's an option to re-index your pages.

As a suggestion, you can also try searching for the "category" slug and checking its translations in WPML → String Translation in case of an error in the slug translation.
