I do not know what exactly causes this. As an idea that some string in WPML → String Translation causes the conflict. You may want to review slug translations in WPML → String Translation and delete anything suspicious. Before proceeding with any changes, please back up your database first. |

Your WPML String Translation is outdated that can cause the conflict. You have to update WPML 4.6.7 and add-ons to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/ Let me know if the issue persists after an update has been done. |

Hi Andrey, As mentioned to your colleague, I had updated both WordPress and all the plugins locally and this issue still persisted. There is something else going on here which we can't understand from our side. Please can you copy this site locally and try this out/debug this and let me know? |

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. I do not need to copy the site as you use outdated WPML plugins. WPML String Translation plugin that you are currently using doesn't belong to WPML 4.6.6, so it doesn't work correctly on your site. You need to update them all so we can keep looking at the issue if it exists after an update has been done. |

Hi Andrey, as previously stated, I had updated all plugins and WP locally and still ran into this issue. I have updated the plugins on the staging link for you now to see too. Please continue to investigate further. |

We need this urgently looked into please. It has been over a week and there is still no update and we are concerned as this feature is required to make updates to the site. |

As mentioned, when the string translations plugin is deactivated, this feature then works fine and the translations aren't reset. Please set this site up locally if any plugin changes are required from your side (as this staging site is shared with the client). Please also reference all the other post types as these are all working fine with translations. |

Thank you for the updates. Could you please update WPML plugin to the latest version 4.6.7? This will expedite the process of troubleshooting the issue. You mentioned that you tested locally, but I have to check this first on your site. |

I noticed that the issue occurs when Yoast SEO plugins are activated. Are you doing any custom Yoast work? Could you please activate a default theme and register there a CPT Collections? |
