Dear support,

I followed the process described in https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/build-multilingual-wordpress-sites-using-oceanwp-theme-and-wpml/
to translate oceanwp libraries items.
Unfortunatly it doesn't work, I cannot find the items in string translation.

The website is hidden link, and I would like to translate it in italian (hidden link). The item that I want to translate is the banner at the top of the website.

I can provide a login/pass if needed.
Fell free to contact me at jch@gericos.com if you need more information or something else.

Hi There
Thanks for contacting WPML support. I’ll be glad to help you today.

I understood that you're having some difficulties in translating the OceanWP Library items. Could you please try the following steps and check if that helps to solve the issue?

- Please go to the "OceanWP > My Library" section and make sure that the banner template is translated.
- Copy the default template ID from its associated shortcode. Screenshot: hidden link
- Switch to the secondary language and copy the template ID of the translated template also.
- Now, go to "WPML > Theme and Plugins localization" and scan the OceanWP theme and addons for Strings.
[Documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#scanning-the-theme-and-plugins]
- After completing the Scan, go to "WPML > String Translation" and search for the default template ID that you copied earlier.
- If the template ID appears in the result, add the ID of the translated template as Translation, clear the caches and check the frontend.

But, if you're unable to find the ID in string translation, please follow these steps,

- From the "String Translation" page, Scroll down and click on the “Translate texts in admin screens »” link
- Search for the default template ID
- Select the string
- Click on the “Add to String Translation” button
- Then click on “« Return to String Translation” link
- After that, add the translation of the template ID from String Translation and check if that helps to solve the issue.

Kindly check the guide below to know more about translating texts using String Translation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/

I hope this will help to solve the issue. If you need further assistance, please let me know. I will be happy to assist you.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
