Problem: Product Page doesn't open in German Language

Solution: This issue is happening because of a conflict in the slug translation. The category slug *programas-regulares* is translated as *touren* in German. So it is conflicting with *servicios/%category%* translation *touren/%category%*. As per WordPress standards, we can't have the same slug for more than one Post Type or taxonomy.

Changing the slug translation for *programas-regulares* from WPML>>String Translation & resaving the permalinks from Settings>>Permalinks, has fixed the issue.

Hi, When I view my products in German Language they don't appear, instead a 404 page shows up. The product page is viewable in default language and a secondary language but not in German Language.

I have tried updating translating and I do see pencil icon on the translation.

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue. Sorry for the late response because of the weekend.

Please check you are using any redirection conditions. Does it happen with all the German Products?

Please visit Settings>>Permalins and resave the settings. It may help to clear the issue.

Please create a test product, and translate it into German. Then make sure the bug exists or not.

from the header you can switch languages, it opens in english and spanish but not in german

Thank you for the login information. This issue is happening because of a conflict in the slug translation. The category slug *programas-regulares* is translated as *touren* in German. So it is conflicting with *servicios/%category%* translation *touren/%category%*. Refer to the attached images for more details.

As per the WordPress standards, we can't have the same slug for more than one Post Type or taxonomy.

Therefore please change the slug translation for *programas-regulares* from WPML>>String Translation & resave the permalinks from Settings>>Permalinks. Then clear all types of caches and make sure you are getting the expected results or not.
