This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to use the new product translation method in WPML as it requires assigning translators, which does not suit their needs. They are looking for a way to translate products directly without needing to assign translators, similar to the old method.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to view and manage product translations directly:
1. Navigate to WP Dashboard > Products.
2. Click on "Screen Options" at the top right section.
3. Enable the "Languages" option from the additional options that appear.
This will display a languages column in the product list, allowing direct access to translations. If the columns appear jammed, deactivate other columns from "Screen Options" to create enough room.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate products on my site (sffcases.com). In the newest version, the product translation method has changed. Previously, I could translate products from a list, similar to how pages and blog articles are translated. Now, I have to assign translators, which is not suitable for my use case. I want to be able to translate all content without needing to be a translator or submit translations. In fact, your documentation is wrong, in the Woocommerce multilingual it tells you to search for the "+" button in products, which is in fact NON EXISTANT.

Symptoms:
The new product translation method in WPML is not intuitive AT ALL and does not fit my use case.

Questions:
Is there a way to bring back the old product translation method?
Is there any documentation that you are following?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I understand your concern. The alternative way that I can suggest is this:

- Go to WP Dashboard > Products
- From the top right section click on "Screen Options"
- It will show additional options for you which one of them are "Languages".
- Enable that option.

No wyou will see the language column showing on the products list.

If you see the columns are jammed, try to deactivate other columns from Screen Options to have enough room.

Thanks.
