This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: I have issues with variations disappearing from the original language when WPML tries to translate them.
Solution: Please make sure you have enough memory available to run a multilingual ecommerce site.

Let's start with the variations issue. I rana test and it seems the problem only appears on version 5.2.1 and not on 5.3.1, i believe that the one installed on your end was 5.2.1, but i can't confirm it here because i don't have the debug information of your site (Wich you can add by following this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/#:~:text=How%20can%20I%20get%20my,Support%20section%20of%20the%20page. ) If you have version 5.2.1, then please update it to version 5.3.0 and try to translate a variable product to see if it works this time. You can do this from the Plugins > Add New > Commercial Tab. Try that out and let me know if that works so we can then move to the heading issue (i'm still running a few tests about this one). Could you please increase your memory to "256M" by using this guide: Then try again and if the problem continues, then please send me a copy of your site, if possible (yo can do so using a plugin like "duplicator" or "All in One Migration", excluding only the media elements of your site to make the backup lighter). I can take the backup myself if you wish, i'd just need access to the site. |

I managed to get all products translated, so I don't know. I guess I'll find out with a new phone release. Shall we focus on the remaining issues? - Headings (WP Bakery standard) are not translated |

So they are correcly translated without issues in the variations now? if that's the case, then ok, keep an eye on it, because the other case that i had happened because of the plugin version AND that the client didn't have enough memory for WooCommerce before he installed WPML, which he fixed but the database was missing content and created all the issue. -------------- Let's move onto the Header next. i ran a test on a sandbox site and couldn't see the problem there. however i only had access to the latest version 7.2 would it be possible for you to allow me access to the site after taking a backup so i can install that version, or maybe you can ask the authors of the plugin or the theme that gives you the plugin to send you the latest version and install it, then retranslate the page to see if it works this time? I enabled the credits for that purpose ---------------- About the shipping option, if you can modify it to something unique (add a set of characters that will unlikely be found on other strings) so it's easier to find the correct string in WPML > String Translation. If it comes from a third party plugin, then try this method here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#auto-register-strings-for-translation Try it out and let me know how it goes. |

Please check this video: hidden link It's a bit long because i recorded myself on every step of the process and a few things i did before to make sure everything went smoothly. So far, i couldn't see problems with the products so that's a good sign and i think the problem was that before there were some things missing in the database that was fixed by running our troubleshooting options from the "clean up" section as seen here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-troubleshooting-options/ Apart from that, all the other settings seem to be ok. I got the heading and shipping fixed now. Still 2 to go: I got the last one partially fixed. The translation editor is not working, but when I copy the page to English I can translate it and that shows the page as it should.
