This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

What happens to the product attributes when you complete a product translation?

Solution:

The attributes will be synced and you can always go to WooCommerce → WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency → Attributes and sync the attributes and the product variations.

Hi,

I'm using Woocommerce, WPML, Woocommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency.
We've updated some attributes and products.

What i got now:

Native: Attribute ABC
Taxonomy: A- 2 products, B - 3 products, c - 4 products

Translated version: Attribute ABC
Taxonomy: A- 0 products, B - 0 products, c - 0 products

Will it be synchronized when I'll update products' translations?

Products' translations -> here i have some strange problem:

WPML -> translation management
I choose: products and filter "need update". I have lets say 100 results on the list.
I check 20 of them and choose send to translate.
I have info: go to wpml translations or to automatic translations.
I'm using automatic so I go there and there are some products to translate but only 7 (!) not 20..don't know why.
Ok, I translate those 7 automatically, credits used amount grows then I go back to translation management, set filters and... there are still same 100 products' list..!

What should I do to update products' translations succesfully?..

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

I understand that you have two questions regarding WPML and translating products.

1. Sync attributes between translated products.
2. Automatic translation does not work for the products.

May I kindly ask you to open a new ticket for your second question?

This will help other users with similar problems to find solutions when searching the forum.

In this thread, we would handle issue #1: Sync attributes between translated products.

After translating the products, the attributes should be synced automatically. But what if the variations aren't created for the translated products? You can always go to WooCommerce → WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency → Attributes and sync the attributes and the product variations as shown in the attached screenshot.

Hope that helps, and let us know if you have any other questions. We would be happy to assist further.
