Hello, In December, I installed WPML on ethicalmindfulness.org, but there were a number of problems, so we uninstalled WPML and deleted the plugins. The database has not been touched yet.
Now we want to try again. The plugins are installed via the installer but not yet activated.
Now we have a few questions:
1. The WPML plugin is 4.8.3, shouldn't it be 4.9.1?
2. I would like to do a complete reset. What is the best way to proceed?
3. What needs to be considered after a reset in terms of the allocation of pay-as-you-go credits?
4. Our hosting is with Redis/Litespeed caching: isn't it best to have installer 4.9?
3. What needs to be considered after a reset in terms of the allocation of pay-as-you-go credits?
On our side, I can see that hidden link is currently registered to Pay-as-you-go, and there is no debt. There was no charge for credits on February 3rd, 2026, which was the billing cycle for January 2026. And no translations have been made since then.
I suggest that, when activating WPML, you unregister from the Pay-as-you-go subscription before proceeding with the reset. Then, after reinstalling and configuring WPML, you can re-register for the Pay-as-you-go subscription.
4. Our hosting is with Redis/Litespeed caching: isn't it best to have installer 4.9?
I'm unsure if I understand this question. Are you referring to WPML's installer? If so, its latest version is 3.1.18. You can see it here: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/. The installer version is independent of WPML's versions. Our installer plugin is just a simple means of installing our plugins for the first time. You can always install our plugins manually by downloading them from the downloads page at the link above.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
