Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

To help you faster, I've enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Please visit Plugin>>Add new>>Commercial tab and click on the button "Check for updates", this will force the connection to wpml.org. If you don't get any error, the notice should disappear, or you can consider it a false positive.

In some cases, it may appear due to conflict with firewalls. So you may need to whitelist WPML URLs. Please check the following URL for more details.

Hi Thanks for your reply,

I have tried the check for updates ("Please visit Plugin>>Add new>>Commercial tab and click on the button "Check for updates", this will force the connection to wpml.org.") and it asked for my site key, but it doesn't work. My site has been moved to another hosting provider and has changed from "hidden link" to "hidden link". Can that cause the problem?

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for the updates. The site key will be unique and it is linked with a URL. So you have to register the site key for hidden link. Please try the following steps after a full site backup and make sure the issue exists or not.

1) Visit the Site Dashboard and go to Plugins>>Add New>>Commercial
2) Click on the *Unregister WPML from this site* button
3) Visit WPML.org>>My Accounts>>Sites
4) Delete the existing site key
5) Then create a new subscription key for the site - hidden link
6) Visit the Site Dashboard again and go to Plugins>>Add New>>Commercial
7) Register with the new site key and refresh the page
