This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The customer wants more control over the maximum cost of automatically translating the entire website and wants to know if it is possible to exclude certain content from the 'Translate everything' feature '.
Solution:
We do not have user options to set limits on translation credit usage. The €100 and €4000 limits only apply to sites that have not yet processed credit payments and are a security measure.

To exclude certain types of content from automatic translation, you can do so in the WPML settings under 'Post Type Translation', and adjust the option 'Translate everything automatically'.

Follow this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-posts/

Also, you can deactivate the WPML translation editor by changing the translation method to 'WordPress Editor'. This can be done for the current content, all content of the same type, or all content on the site.

Follow this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages /

Is there a way to get more control over the max costs incurred with automatic translation of full site? I read there are stops on € 100 and € 4000. I estimated this site earlier at €300, so it is likely to be somewhere in between these two automatic stops, but I rather not have it cost € 3.999! Another way would be to get an accurate estimation of the cost for full automatic translation.

Aside, is it possible to use the 'translate everything' function, but still exclude some content? For example, it is not necessary to translate 2500 tickets issued via The Events Calendar.

The site is hidden link.

Thanks!

Hello,

The limits of $100 and $4000 will only affect sites, that did not yet have processed a payment for credits. It is more of a security measure to prevent fraud for us.

We do not have any user options to set limits for credit usage.

You can exclude any post type from automatic translation in "Translate everything automatic" mode at WPML > Settings > Post Type Translation.

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-posts/

Further, you can disable the WPML Translation Editor by switching the translation method to "WordPress Editor" on any original content inside the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor.

A dialog will open and ask you if you want to switch the translation method for the current content, all contents of the same type, or all site contents.

Best regards
