I have gone through the initial setup process but stuck on the automatic translation, it says active but shows a message 'translation on hold' I am attempting to add a new language Italian, with english as my default. |

Hello, 1.- Have you translated any content already? 2.- Please describe step-by-step how to reproduce the issue. You can share a link to a video or screenshots where the issue can be seen. 3.- I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Our Debugging Procedures I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back up the site before providing us access. If we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site. 4.- Increase the WP memory Limit. Hi Carlos, thanks for your reply. I did manage to solve this issue. But I do have two other questions. 1. How do I install the woocommerce translate option, I can't seem to find this as I didn't do it in the initial setup? 2. The translated language is active but when I choose 'italian' it loads for the page I am on but when I navigate to other pages it goes back to English. any ideas what setting I should alter to fix? |

Hi, 1.- To install Woocommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency you must go to Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab -> Install and activate the plugin. Then follow the steps described in this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/ 2.- Could you share some screenshots or a video showing the problem so I can have a better understanding? |

Thanks for the info. I have done this but it has removed the individual links to the pages and sub menus, I am using quad menu for this. Can you advise how I make sure the whole menu is copied in the same format? I tried using the sync option but that is when it removed my links. Also if i navigate to other pages from links within a page e.g. a contact us button on a page, it goes from Italian to English. Can these links be auto synced so it goes to the correct language? |
