Thanks a lot for your help! Is there a chance to fix this problem in the same easy way like the pages? Cheers and thanks for your help! |

Hi there I can't really comment on what the issue is, unless I can see it, so it would be helpful if you see the problem recur to let me know so that I can check what's happening. Also, it would helpful if you can clarify the specific workflow that results in the problem. |

I translate the differnet slides. And without notice, some (sometimes all) languages will be deleted. Unfortunately I can't reproduce it as it just happens. Can it be that it is a database problem like my other question. We had copied the page. Maybe something went wrong. Is there a way to take a closer look at the database? |

On my other Problem the solution worked: But this solution works only for "Pages" not for the revolution Slider. |

That fix was for a specific issue that seemed to arise from problems copying the site, where the translated posts were missing from the database. I don't know what the issue with the slider is, it will likely have a different cause (and a different solution). Can you give more details about the sliders that have the problem? Which sliders? What kind of content do they have? Are they slides with static text you add to each slide, or are they dynamic, pulling in the content from posts (e.g. a slider rotating through featured posts)? What are your steps for translating these slides? I still have access to your site from the other ticket, so I can look at that, but I need to know what I am looking for. (Remember, you know your site well, but I do not.) |

I get the base of a Template (see the Image). The Content is static Text/Image Content. I translate it to click on the slides Pull Down Menu on the three Lines with the Plus and the under "Slide Options" I choose WPML and change the Language. Cheers and thanks alot!!!! |

Hello again I just spent quite a while setting up a clean test site so that I could familiarise myself with how the Slider Revolution plugin works, and—in particular—how it stores its data, and how the translations are stored. I see that data about the slides is stored in custom database tables (e.g. wp_revslider_slides) rather than in wp_posts as a slide custom post type, for example. That means that WPML does not store any information about the "translations" of the slides, the language information is stored along with the rest of the data about the slides in the revslider custom database tables. In my screenshot you can see how the variations of the Brake Fluid slide are stored. This is data that WPML knows nothing about, and isn't responsible for storing or modifying. The Slider Revolution plugin is integrated with WPML inasmuch as the information about languages and which language to display come from WPML, but the multilingual functionality itself is managed wholly by Slider Revolution. So in this case I would suggest you contact their support for further help on this particular issue, as whatever the cause it doesn't appear to come from WPML and they will understand their implementation much better than we do here in WPML support. We will, of course, be happy to help you with anything else that we are able to. |
