We just downloaded WPML and started traducing our website in French.
Here are the issues that pumped out that you might be able to help with:
- We translated the header navigation 2 but it does not appear on the French Home and the Menu Sync does not seem to work. Would you know how to make this header / menu appear on the French version?
- The language switcher from English to French is displayed in the footer while we would like it to be on the top right corner of the header. We do not find how to do so, could you please guide us?
- We can't find the translated pages in the wordpress admin editor part. However we would like to be able to change the picture - for e.g some pictures of the French Home must be adapted. Do you know how to do so?
- We know there is a SEO function included in the WPML plugin. How to use it? Is it possible to get a SEO score for each page?

Okay, thanks. I did a full backup of the database and all the files, but I don't know how to create a test site for you to use. Could you explain me how can I do it, please?

Thanks a lot. I have a little issue while doing the step-by-step to modify the menu on the french page. I follow the steps, and when I click on the french version of the "Home" to start editing the layout, I see the menu in english and cannot access the french one or edit it. Please see screenshot attached.
