So far I can not confirm that any Divi Template was translated inside WPML > Translation Management.
Please do not try to translate the Divi Templates manually at Divi > Theme Builder.
You will need to go to WPML > Translation Management and use the dropdown filter on the top left to filter for:
- Header Template
- Body Template
- Footer Template
Then create a job for each template and access the translations at WPML > Translations. In this step, you can make the translations available for all translators or for specific ones.
Now open the jobs one by one and complete them to 100% using the WPML Translation Editor.
I have created a custom post type called "Activities".
I have created about 10 activity posts.
All those posts have a main layout assigned to them.
You can find it in DIVI > THEME BUILDER > it is the layout called "All Activities".
This layout has a booking button.
When you book an activity in the English version it directs you to an English booking form.
When you book an activity in the Spanish version it directs you to a Spanish booking form.
I want to translate this layout in Spanisn and change the button link, so it can be automatically applied to each current activity post and future ones.
I can sadly not longer access the site:
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
Try translating the button link using the following method when translating your Divi Template with the WPML Translation Editor. (See guide in my earlier comment):
I had to delete the website because I discovered it had many bugs.
I created a new one and I am testing different things.
I am also in touch with the Divi team.
This is what they sent me to do , to translate Divi Theme Builder templates that will look a bit different.
I am sorry if I repeat myself, but this is not the recommended workflow. What was correct, was to change the settings (Not all of them) but most.
To translate the templates you should only go to WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard, create jobs, and then translate the template with the WPML > Translation Editor by going to WPML > Translations.
If you begin translating the templates manually by using the language switcher on Divi > Theme Builder you might run into unexpected issues with translations not showing up which most likely is caused by missing display conditions.
Please try to apply the recommended workflow. If this does not work as expected, I can offer to have a look as an admin user.
