This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was unable to update the English translation of a static block, and products on translated pages were leading to broken links after translating some categories.
Solution:
We recommended translating categories in bulk using automatic translation. The client should create a product, assign all available categories to it, and send it for automatic translation via WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard. This should translate all assigned categories. Additionally, for the issue with the widget not being translated, the client should translate the widget at WPML > String Translation by selecting the text-domain "widgets". If this does not resolve the issue, creating one widget per language might be necessary. For further guidance, we suggest reading the quick guide on sending content for automatic translation at https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/#sending-content-for-automatic-translation.

If the provided solution does not apply or is outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. It was a tedious process but i managed to finally translate all products, they are now apearing back in shop finally and we can put the shop back online.

One couple of issues, nothing to bad, but some translated words were wrong, like this:
hidden link

Jarrón , should be Maceta, is there a way to change all Jarrón words to Maceta?

Also if i want to manually change some of the products translations were do i do it?

Thank you!

Hello,

To manually edit the translations of your products you can go to WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual & Multi-Currency > Products.

The completed translations should show a pencil icon next to them. If you click the pencil icon the WPML Translation Editor will open and you will be able to manually edit the translations.

I further suggest you make use of the glossary feature, where you would be allowed to set general names and terms that should be applied. This will further automatically work for automatic translations created with DeepL.

Please read this guide and let me know if you do have any further questions:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/how-to-create-and-manage-glossary-entries/

Best regards
Andreas

It depends on in which language the original product was created.

You would create an entry for the original general term in site default language.

Then you use the preferred term "Maceta" for the Spanish translation.

Now when translating something automatically into Spanish and if yu use DeepL as translation engine, the word "Jarron" will automatically replaced with "Maceta".

I suppose the products are translated into Spanish, correct?

Let's say, the original product were created in English, which means you always translate from English to Spanish. You would now create an entry inside the glossary, for the original English term, then enter your prefered translations.

The next step would be to send all the products again to automatic translation using the DeepL translation engine. You will not get charged credits for updating these terms.

In the upcoming version of WPML 4.7 this will be made even easier. We are about to add a new bulk update translations feature to the Glossary.
