[Resolved] Split: we aren't getting some of the necessary button styles
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are experiencing issues with missing button styles in translated pages using WPML. Solution: We recommend updating the page translation. First, make slight modifications to the original page, specifically to the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) part. After saving these changes, navigate to the WPML translation editor and complete the translation.
We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem continues, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Also, a secondary question for you - the whole reason why I was trying to change the translation was because we aren't getting some of the necessary button styles in the translation and I'm not sure how to rectify that?
After triggering the translation, have you tried making changes to this button, saving the page, going to the translation editor, and completing the translations?
If so, how have you added and styled those buttons on the page?
So there is button html in the ACF field that populates this on the english version, but in the Spanish translation area in the translation editor, it doesn't show it having associated html so the translation is correct, but it appears outside of the button html itself.
After inspecting the section, I noticed that the button's structure is different, which may explain the issue.
To better understand why this is happening, I would appreciate more information on how you created and added the HTML button in the ACF field that populates this on the page.
Try to update the page translation. To do so, modify the original page slightly, make some changes to that ACF part, save it, navigate to the WPML translation editor, and complete the translation.
