thank you,
You think is a good option to convert my base languaje (Spanish) from wordpress editor to wpml translation (Classic Translation Editor), and from this for all the future translations based on Spanish as a model for translate, make the future translations in ATE ?
And the .it,.fr,.pt leave as a wordpress editor.

thanks,

Hey again,

Base language should stay as it is, I'm talking about the translations that you already did,

This is just a suggestion that could benefit you in the future, make a clear list on which pages are using which translation editor and avoid mixing it up.

And all future translation should be made by ATE as you want to use Deepl.

That's it,

Hello,
Advance Media Translation is working pretty well, however I miss being able to translate media in the same time. This makes it far more clear in what images on this page should be translated.

And when translating media, why isn't it possible to select an image from the media library? The current way of working leads to many duplicate images.

Hello Nicolas,

Regarding this point #13518633

You are commenting here I can use the Translate Automatically button in Editor WordPress manual, But this button is not showing for me.

"2. If you are using the WordPress editor
In this case, as mentioned, you can't switched to ATE because you might lose your previous translations (and again, you can't pick a different editor per language).

But I have a workaround for you.
- Keep ATE disabled, keep using WordPress
- Go to "WPML > Translation Management"
- Select the pages you want to translate
- Below the listing, pick "Translate" only the new languages and "Do nothing" for the old languages
- Then choose "Translate Automatically"
See screenshot for better understanding. As recommended by Ilyes test it out first with a single page."

thanks
Joaquín

Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up,

I have split the ticket again for your Media Translation request : https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-split-wpml-advanced-translation-editor

For the suggestion that Nicolas gave, could you share your access to your admin page as I think we need to verify if the Automatic Translation is enabled correctly under your settings or not.

You could share it privately using this form that I enabled : hidden link

Best,
