There is an error on the database which popped up while I was investigating the issue user.
I suspect your database is corrupted which would explain why you have so many random issues.
I'll let you know when the errors are fixed.

Good morning Laura, ah now you see what I was trying to say in the original support ticket about there being a general issue with our WPML installation.
Please ensure you can give me detailed instructions to fix on the live site.

Your database is most likely corrupted, we're investigating it. Please be aware if that's the case it might not be so easy to just "redo the steps" on the live site.
