Hello,

please explain in more detail from where is this string coming?

How it was added/created in the default language and how are you translating it?

Thanks,
Drazen

Hi,

The string is created in the code using _e("string", "linc"); The standard language is english. Under stringtranslations we translated the string but in every language it works, only DE not. This language is hidden but i think something is wrong with that language.

Hello,

thanks for getting back.

Since you use a custom theme and custom code, to check if the issue is related to languages or theme, please try to add the same part of the code to the WP default theme.

Disable all other plugins, leave active only WPML plugins, and scan and translate these strings.

Check if the issue still happens in such cases and only for DE.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen

Hello,

that would mean the issue is related to your custom theme / code, not specific language or WPML.

As per our policy, we can not debug custom code solutions as it is out of our scope but would be glad to help with any advice if we can.

I would advise further debugging your theme/code and checking related docs:

- https://wpml.org/documentation/support/enabling-text-translation-for-themes-not-compatible-with-wpml/
- https://codex.wordpress.org/I18n_for_WordPress_Developers

If you need further help we advise hiring a WPML contractor:

Let me know if any other questions.

Regards,
Drazen
