This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate attribute labels on your product page from Greek to English using WPML, but the labels are not translating correctly.
Solution:
We have identified that the issue is caused by a custom code snippet titled "images-jqueries for shop sidebar and single product" from the Code Snippets plugin. Disabling this snippet should resolve the problem. If you are not comfortable handling this yourself, we recommend contacting one of our certified partners at http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check for related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate attribute labels on my product page using WPML. My website's original language is Greek, and the second language is English. I have translated the labels through the WPML platform.

Symptoms:
The attribute labels do not translate on the product page, even though I have translated them.

Questions:
Why are the attribute labels not translating on the product page?
How can I ensure that the attribute labels are translated correctly using WPML?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. To take a closer look at this issue, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.

Your next answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is essential.

✙ Please provide me with the example product link/screenshot where I can see this issue.

Thank you

Thanks for providing the login details. I’ve tried initial troubleshooting steps on your site but none of them worked so far.

To further debug this issue without affecting your live site, I have set up a fresh WP site on cloudways. Please migrate your site to the cloudways server so that we can check if it’s a theme/plugin conflict or a server-specific issue.

I’m going to share the migration details in my next private reply.

Thank you

I’ve thoroughly debugged the issue and found that the custom code snippet “images-jqueries for shop sidebar and single product” from Code Snippets plugin is causing the problem. When we disable that snippet, the attribute labels work correctly, as shown in the attached screenshot.

Please note that debugging custom code is beyond our support scope. You may need to fix this yourself or contact one of our certified partners through this link: http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/

Let me know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your cooperation.
