Hintergrund des Themas:
I am trying to fix broken links in the event calendar on my website. In English, various slugs are displayed incorrectly, leading to incorrect links that appear in the broken link checker. This issue is not present in French and German. I have checked everything possible and tried the workaround provided here: https://wpml.org/errata/the-events-calendar-date-link-points-to-monthmonatmiesic/, but nothing works. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Die Symptome:
Links in English appear incorrectly with slugs like (/?:events) that do not exist in other languages. Examples of incorrect links include: hidden link?:events)/map/, hidden link?:events)/(/?:list|list)/, hidden link?:events)/map/, and hidden link?:events)/map/&eventDisplay=past.

Fragen:
Why are the slugs displayed incorrectly only in English?
What is causing the incorrect links with (/?:events) in the URL?

Hello There!
I hope you're doing well.

Before this thread is assigned to my colleague, I’d like to provide some initial guidance and potential solutions.

I understand the issue you’re experiencing. While the Errata you previously followed has been resolved, there is another similar, ongoing issue that might be relevant. Please refer to the following Errata for more details:

The solution provided in this Errata is different from the one you followed earlier. I recommend trying the workaround outlined there and let us know if it resolves the issue.

If you need further assistance, feel free to let us know!

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi Prosenjit

fixed (Workaround)

Workaround from here https://wpml.org/errata/wp-6-7-translations-not-loaded-for-the-events-calendar-plugin/
Permalinks saved multiple times

This seems directly related to the label translation issue.

The workaround will be gone with the next update of TEC. Is there an update in sight?

Hi There!
Thank you for the update!

Glad to hear that the workaround helps to solve the issue.

Regarding the workaround, our compatibility team has contacted the TEC team, and we are collaborating to resolve this issue. We hope the solution will be integrated into a future TEC update. In the meantime, please continue using this workaround.

I hope you can understand. If you have any other queries or clarification, feel free to let me know. I'll be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
