Hello,

I see you have enabled browser redirect, as our docs say it can cause issue and other languages not being indexed by Google.

- https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/how-browser-language-redirect-affects-google-indexing/

I would advise disabling this option if you are experiencing issues with the page index.

Regards,
Drazen

Hi,
Ok, but I enabled it only yesterday. The Google map issue (not displaying in second language) is there since I started translating the website. My WP theme support advised me to contact you for this.

Thanks

1) Can you please show me where you add the API? (a screenshot or quick video will do

2) What error do you see on the JS console (press right click on the page and then click "inspect")?

3) Do you add the entire google map code or only something specific like google ID or similar on the theme settings?

These steps will help me figure out what to do next.

Let's try to solve the google map api problem first and then i'll split the ticket and handle the mail problem (we can only handle one issue at a time as per our forum rules and to keep things simpler and avoid confusion).

When i accessed the site, they sometimes worked in english, sometimes in french and sometimes the pin was in french and the map in english or the other way around. it was super weird!

I checked a bit the theme options and all was in place but then in the front-end i saw an error coming from a "chaffeur booking plugin" and WPML was just the bystander in between the 2 booking features.

You have conflicting plugins among your site. in this case the chaffeur booking plugin also has a google maps API and while that specific option is disabled, it's still conflicting with your properties.
Note:

you can get conflicts between the all in one SEO and Yoast SEO plugin too. never have 2 plugins that do the same, active at the same time or you can get weird errors on your sites and sometimes the errors are not obvious at all and may appear in the weirdest of ways!

Please flush your cache and let me know if this API issue is fixed so we can move to the mails situation.

Regards.

Hi,

Ok, no problem for the email issue, it can wait as advised. However, I have disabled all those plugins and flushed the cache. The issue seems to be there still.

"When i accessed the site, they sometimes worked in english, sometimes in french and sometimes the pin was in french and the map in english or the other way around. it was super weird!". Is there any reason for that. Do I need to check something specifically?

Best regards

This is what i found: hidden link

In this case, all you needed to do was update the translations and you can do that in bulk in WPML > Translation Management, by selecting the listings and then select "translate automatically".

All the content you had previously translated will be retrieved as-is so you won't be charged for them and you'll update the metadata on the translations, fixing the conflict that the chauffeur plugin apparently added to the listings.

Can you try that out and let me know please? if the problem continues there, i ask you that you be more detailed because i had to check many houses before i could find a problematic one. Please remember we do not know your site and we're not there with you so we can't see what you see. being detailed saves us time and helps us solve the problem faster.

Regards.

Hi Alejandro,
Thank you very much for your guidance. That was great and helpful

By the way do I raise a new ticket for the other issue, as you told me you'will look into it when you are done with the Google Map problem?
