Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

Please visit WPML>>Settings>>Translation Mode and check which option you have selected now.

May the workaround suggested here will help you to fix the issue - https://wpml.org/faq/translation-status-stuck-or-displaying-the-error-wpml-didnt-manage-to-translate-this-page/

If the issue exists, please share a couple of screenshots for a better understanding of the issue.

Hi Bigul

Thank you for your Input.

I attached the "Screenshot 1" was what it told me to do yesterday, to ask for the Error 116778049.

After reading your Input I tried the workaround and still got stuck again:
But no error message like the Screenshot 1.

It kept running like in screenshot 2.

So I duplicated the whole page, set it up again and let it translate as a new page:
screenshot 3 says "the content is being translated"
But the status stays on the "1 minute left and 0% progress" even after 10 mins.

The Status right now is screenshot 3 and 4.

Hello,

Thank you for the details. Please try the following steps after a site backup and make sure the issue exists or not.

1) Increase *WP Memory Limit* to *256* MB(the minimum required memory limit for WPML is *128*). Please check the following links for more details

https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/

https://developer.wordpress.org/apis/wp-config-php/#increasing-memory-allocated-to-php

2) Increase the *MaxInputVars* of PHP settings to *10000*. Please check the following article for more details and contact your system admin/hosting provider to upgrade this configuration.

3) Open the Page for editing in the default language (the one having the issue)
4) Make a minor change in the page and update it (to refresh the translation settings)
5) Visit WPML>>Translation Management Dashboard
6) Choose the Page you want to translate or update the existing translations
7) Send it to Translation Basket
8) Visit WPML>>Translation Management>>Translation Basket
9) Send it for translation, by choosing yourself as a translator
10) Visit WPML>>Translations queue and translate the page by clicking the *Translate* button

This is the actual workflow for translation. Refer to this article for more details https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/

Unfortunately it still seems to be stuck.
I can't even choose myself as a translator, even though I am listed as one.

I dont recieve any other Error Message either.
What else is there to try?

I restarted the Translation Progress a few times (by deleting the running job, making small changes in the Standard-Language Site, restarting the progress via the automatic translator.)

Would you like a Login to the page to check for yourself?

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. Now the WPML>>Support>>Advanced Translation Editor>>Error Logs is showing a *Gateway Timeout* error. It may be related. So I have created two tickets for the further for easy following up.

Please increase *WP Memory Limit* to *256* MB(the minimum required memory limit for WPML is *128*). Refer to the following links for more details

https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/

https://developer.wordpress.org/apis/wp-config-php/#increasing-memory-allocated-to-php

I will get back to you soon on the new tickets. Please wait.
