Hello Team, We want to translate ACF link fields in WPML translation pages. We are not able to translate the ACF link fields. We have also tried WPML Sticky Links plugin to translate links between pages and posts. but not working as expected. Please Suggest to us how we resolve this issue. |

Hello, thanks for contacting us. 1) In order to expedite handling your support requests, can you please share WPML support debug information from your site. More information on the link: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/ 2) Make sure you are using ACFML addon plugin. 3) Make sure the relations and link field are set to COPY, as recommended in our docs. Make sure that page, taxonomy and etc, exist in 2nd language, meaning they are translated. - https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/recommended-custom-fields-translation-preferences-for-acf-and-wpml/ If so, when you re-translate the page, the translated value will be automatically set in 2nd language. For Link field, you can set it to Translate and then add a translated link in WPML editor. - https://wpml.org/announcements/2020/02/translating-links-with-advanced-translation-editor/ Let me know how it goes. Regards, |

We are not able to change the link in the secondary language. If we change the link it again copies the default language link. Also, the lock icon with the message appears in the secondary language. Please check. Please check debug information as well. FYI, we have added the " Could you please help us to translate the ACF link field type value? Please Enable the option to share the debug information. |

Hello, what I see from the image is that is expected since translation settings for that field are set to COPY. This means the same link will be used/copied from the default language, and you can not change it manually. If you wish, to use some different, and set link to TRANSLATE, please go to that field group and select from top expert method. Then set your link field settings to translate. Please check the video and our related documentation: - https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/ Let me know if any questions. Regards, |
