Hi,
I'm using the default Elementor widget button to open a lightbox with a video from Vimeo/Youtube. I need to have different URLs based on the page language. I can't see the video URL field in the translation editor page. Can you help me?
Can you search for the link in the WPML → String Translation area, please? The links are not available for translation in the advanced translation editor but you should be able to translate them through the String Translation area.
Please give this a try and tell me how it goes.
Hi!
I searched for the link as you suggested but it doesn't show up. I also tried to search for admin texts by pressing "Choose texts for translation" button and it doesn't show up as well
In this case, is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area and a link to the page where I can see this button so I can check things out a bit closer?
The next reply is set to be private so you can safely send me the credentials.
Yes, I did get your message and I did check the page that you sent to me. It took me a bit longer because I checked the button lightbox option, tried everything I can think of to make it work, but I had no luck with that.
The next step was to replicate the issue on a clean website, which I was able to do, and I asked my colleagues to have a look at this and see if there's anything I'm missing.
I will update you about this once I get a message from my colleagues (which shouldn't take long).
One of my colleagues had a look at this issue but didn't find any fix so I had to escalate this one to the 2nd tier for a closer check.
I will keep you posted about the progress we're making on this one.
I'm sorry but I don't have any update about this. For now, you can try to edit the translated page using the Elementor builder and edit the link on the secondary language manually.
I will give you a message back as soon as I have any updated about this issue. The ticket is connected to our internal thread so when there's an update from my colleague I will come back here in no time.
