This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to send categories and tags to translators using WPML, and documents are not showing up on the translated site. Additionally, titles and notices were not included in the xliff file and thus not translated.
Solution:
To address the issue of translating categories and tags, we recommend translating the Categories and Tags taxonomy terms manually from WPML>>Taxonomy Translation. Alternatively, create a private post including all the Categories and Tags taxonomy terms, and send that post for translation. For detailed guidance, please refer to our documentation on translating taxonomy terms from a central page and how to translate all taxonomy terms at once.

Please note that the solution provided might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate categories, tags, titles, and notices on my site hidden link using WPML. I am unable to send categories and tags to translators, and no documents are showing up on my translated site. Additionally, titles and notices did not get translated because they were not included in the xliff file.

Symptoms:
Categories, tags, titles, and notices are not being sent to translators and are not appearing on the translated site. Titles and notices were not included in the xliff file.

Questions:
How can I send categories and tags to translators using WPML?
Why are documents not showing up on my translated site?
How can I ensure titles and notices are included in the xliff file for translation?

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

To help you faster, I've enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

We hope you have selected the Categories and Tags terms in a post and sent it for translation. Because we can't send the taxonomy terms directly for the translation.

Please visit WPML>>Settings>>Taxonomies Translation and make sure the *Translatable only show translated items* option is selected for Categories and Tags taxonomies.

It does not allow me to choose to decide to have categories and tags translated when I add things to my basket. I am not sure how to do it.

Additionally, Additionally, titles and notices did not get translated because they were not included in the xliff file. Please see the pictures

Hello,

Thank you for the login information. Please check the attached images. There are no default Blog Posts or Portfolio Posts on the site.

Hope you are trying to translate the Post Categories term *Webinars* and Tag terms like *1000*, *2000* etc... But there are no posts on the site now.

So it would be great if you could share the URL of the post/page having the issue.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. In this case, you have to translate the Categories and Tags taxonomy terms manually from WPML>>Taxonomy Translation. Or create a private post with all the Categories and Tags taxonomy terms, and send that post for translation. Please refer to the following documentation for more details.

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-post-categories-and-custom-taxonomies/#translating-your-taxonomy-terms-from-a-central-page

https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-all-taxonomy-terms-at-once/

Please note that I have opened new tickets for other issues. As per our support policies, we can only handle one issue per ticket. It will help us to serve you better and we can avoid discussing multiple problems in one ticket. I will get back to you soon on the latest tickets. Thank you for your kind understanding.

It is resource types that we need to be able to translate as well. How do we go about sending that to a translator?
