Did you contact JetMenu support to see if the JetMenu team can help with the translation or if this is an issue at their end? If not I recommend you to do so and let me know the outcome of the communication with the team and I can then further escalate the issue to our 2'nd tier team or look into the issue further for you if required.

I have been looking into it and also tried several other plug-ins. It seems that, at least when you use Elementor Templates as your Mega Menu content, WPML does not copy/translate these items. This is at least the case for JETMegaMenu and Max Mega Menu. Max Mega Menu confirms this.
Could you look into this specifically?
At the same time, I will check translation possibilities when not using Elementor Templates, but by setting it up in the plug-in itself. Which plug-in for Mega Menu's is compatible and recommended by WPML?

Then setup the sandbox site with minimal plugins, setup to reproduce the issue and let me know the exact steps I should follow to replicate the issue on any site? If the issue is replicable at our end we can then escalate the issue to our Compatibility team.
Just an update from us. We have run a test with a Plug-In that you think is fully compatible, namely MainMega Menu.
Unfortunately. Without success. Because what is the case, it does not add the menu items to the items to be translated. Specifically, the issue now is the item-descriptions. Of course, for a compatible plug-in, it should.
I am quite willing to transfer the site to a sandbox server, but that seems unnecessary at the moment. It will cost me a lot of time and work, while this problem really lies with WPML and/or MainMega. The convenience of WPML lies precisely in the fact that we can synchronise menus and easily assign translations or translate automatically. That's something that's not working right now. Please asisstance.
WPML is not compatible with "MainMega Menu" plugin, I cannot find the plugin in our compatible plugin list https://wpml.org/plugin/
Do you mean "Mega Main Menu" ( https://wpml.org/plugin/mega-main-menu/ ) plugin if yes, please check if the official guide from the plugin linked next helps.

If you still get the issues please contact the plugin provider to see if this is an issue on the plugin or WPML since the compatibility of the plugin is managed by the plugin team them self. Let me know how it goes and we can further troubleshoot it if required.
For further troubleshooting and testing we will need to replicate the issue on a sandbox site. This process is required as we need to verify that the normal setup of WPML and the plugin from scratch in a clean site also reproduces the issue. This helps us find if the issue is with the plugin and WPML itself or is an issue specific to your site. Furthermore since your main site also involves other setups like elementor templates etc. we need to test in a sandbox to verify the issue.
If you can send me a clear step by step to setup the plugin and test along with the file for required plugins such that the issue is replicated I can also test it at my end.
Specifically the item description is not being translated. When we switch the settings to copy in stead of translate, it does copy. But for some reason 'translate' does not work.
I wanted to set it up at the sandbox, however, this one expired. Can you reactivate it?

Please login to the site, then setup WPML with minimal setting and add minimal numbers of plugins, page or setting on the site so as to replicate the issue only.
