Hi,

the issue you linked is related to the string translation.

I would need to see where the terms are coming from. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT
-Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

its wp all import, when you import reviews with them, it saves on the last language that we added on wpml

it doesn't allow you to set that the review will be imported on the default language

Hi,

did you use our WP All Import glue plugin in the import process or not? Please see https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/#getting-started.

Hi,

please see the https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/#getting-started guide. There is a text with a link called "WPML All Import add-on (available from your WPML Downloads page). You can download it directly from here: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/.

Hi,

I understand you have the plugin installed, but please elaborate if you followed the import process using that Add-On as described in our documentation.

This means did you first imported your reviews in your default language for the content via CSV and then the translated content to connect it via a unique identifier field defined in your import files. Did you use this approach?

If not, the multilingual import will always happen in your default language, which seems to be what you described. The connection is made when the data is imported again fresh and then connected between the connector field.

Best Regards
Marcel

we imported in teh default language, but wpml got the review in the last language that we added to the site NL

you can try it on your end, on our side though we solved it by going to the database directly, and changing the language of the comment from NL or HE

Hi,

as I mentioned, WPML can get a translated review only if you additional import as described using the unique identifier in a separate CSV file for the second language. You can see this video where the whole process is viewable.

If you don't import a second CSV connected to the first file, it's expected behaviour.
